Laundry volunteer
Auckland (Hobsonville) Centre
We are looking for volunteers to help with laundry work in our Centre.
Available shifts:
- Monday – Sunday:
- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Duties:
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry to ensure our animals remain clean and warm
- Clean donated goods
- Sort and allocate items throughout the centre
Requirements:
- Independent worker
- Good English comprehension
- Weekly/Fortnightly four-hour shift for six months

To get started, just fill out the form below. If you need help, please call the team at your local SPCA Centre or op shop.
A few things to note:
- You must be at least 15 to volunteer in our Op Shops.
- You must be at least 16 to volunteer at our Centres. If you are younger, please check out our sections on 'Volunteering for Kids', 'Volunteering from Home' or talk to your family about fostering opportunities.
- You may need to provide an up to date Ministry of Justice check during this process, and we'll ask about any medical conditions so we can ensure your safety while volunteering.
