Volunteer positions

This crucial role is a vital part of our daily operations, offering support to all areas of the Centre through laundry, restocking and generally helping us keeping the place tidy!

You will be involved with a range of duties, such as:

• Using the washing machine an dryer
• Cleaning donated goods and bedding
• Folding and storing excess clean laundry
• Sorting through incoming donations
• Cleaning litter trays and crates
• Organising the newspaper room
• General cleaning

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 16 years
• Personal time commitment: You must be able to commit to a regular shift for a period of at least six months
• Some aspects of this role may be quite physical – e.g. lifting dog crates
