Feline volunteer
Kerikeri Centre
We are looking for reliable people to help us care for our cats and kittens.
We are looking for volunteers for our Centre and quarantine areas, for help with the feeding, cleaning and socialising of our many sweet felines. You will be required to help with the cleaning of the cat cages and rooms. The work we ask our feline volunteers to do requires a low to medium physical ability and bending to clean lower cages.
You will be involved in:
- Cleaning cages
- Feeding cats and kittens
- General cleaning of the cat area including laundry, mopping, litter trays and dishes
- Providing enrichment and socialisation for our cats
- Keeping the center tidy
As a volunteer, you are expected to be reliable and hardworking. We need volunteers that are 16 years and older, and can understand written and spoken English.
We currently have shifts available 8:30am - 12pm, Monday - Saturday.
If you can help, please fill in the application form by clicking the link below.
