Making a difference in Motueka
Volunteer with usWe don’t have a full animal centre in Motueka but to make sure we are able to help local animals, an SPCA cat holding facility is available through Vetlife Motueka.
SPCA kitten adoptions are also offered directly through Vetlife Motueka and we work closely with our sister facility, the Nelson SPCA Centre.
Specific enquiries
Due to limited space and resources, unfortunately SPCA does not usually accept owned animals into our care.
As a charity, we do not have sufficient space and resources to provide a rehoming service for owned animals, and have to prioritise sick, stray or injured animals.
