Volunteer positions
Animal volunteer
Thames Centre
We are looking for volunteers to help with the daily work of caring for our animals, walking our dogs, or simply sitting quietly and stroking a timid cat or kitten.
We particularly need volunteers on Saturday from 8am-10am, or longer if you would like to stay and help while our Thames Centre is open during the day.
You will be working either with the cats or dogs, depending on which area is the busiest. This position will suit anyone able to work independently and who has a love of animals. You will be involved in a range of duties such as:
- Cleaning cages
- Feeding the animals
- Caring for the animals
- Walking dogs
You must be confident at handling animals, hardworking and reliable. We need volunteers who are prepared to commit to a regular shift for a period of at least six months. You will also need to understand written and spoken English.
Come join our awesome small team doing great things for the animals in the area. If you can help, please fill in the application form by clicking the link below.
If you have any questions, please call us on 07 868 6830.
